A pop-up in Baltimore works when people stop. A working press does that: guests see ink going down, get in line, and film the shirt coming off the platen. We fit the station to anything from a live printing booth in a Fells Point storefront to a sponsor space at the Convention Center.
Live t-shirt printing activations we set up in Baltimore
- Styled to the brand: signage, table covers and a design menu that match your campaign.
- Sized to the space: one compact station for a Harbor East storefront, or a full row with a hat bar for a Power Plant Live! takeover.
- Built for the camera: the press faces the crowd, so the pull and the peel happen where phones can see them.
- Planned for travel: gear ships freight and the crew lands a day early. Date changes are easiest with two weeks' notice.
Activations on the harbor promenade or in a game-day lot need cover and a wind plan. Indoor spaces in Mount Vernon or around the Inner Harbor mostly need a door and two circuits. Tell us the footprint and the crowd you expect and we'll size it.
Space, power and timing for a live printing booth in Baltimore
Each station takes 10×10 ft and two 120V/20A circuits. In a Fells Point rowhouse storefront the second circuit is usually the problem: older buildings off Thames Street often put the whole front room on one breaker, so ask the landlord for a photo of the panel before the floor plan is final. If only one outlet is real, we run a single DTF lane and leave the screen press in the case. Harbor East retail and the hotel lobbies along Aliceanna Street have the power but will want a COI and a load-in time that stays clear of lunch traffic. For a takeover on the Inner Harbor promenade or a lot outside Camden Yards, plan on a generator and get the outdoor footprint approved early.
Pace is about 2 minutes a guest, and a two-press station does 100+ an hour, so a 2-hour Orioles pregame window comes out near 200 shirts if the line stays full. Gear ships freight from Fullerton and the crew lands a day early, which means art, sizes and the power answer have to be settled before the truck leaves. A date change needs two weeks. July and August by the water are humid, and afternoon storms come in off the bay, so we keep the blanks covered and the canopy weighted. For a slower piece guests hang onto, live embroidery on caps or promo items like totes can run beside the shirt line.
