Six to ten weeks works well for Baltimore. The presses ship by freight from Fullerton and the crew flies in a day ahead, so the shipping schedule sets most of the calendar. If your date is closer than that, ask anyway.
Timeline, working back from your date
- 10+ weeks out: best for big Inner Harbor activations, Ravens game days, and Convention Center shows with vendor deadlines of their own. Art, garments and the station plan all get settled without a rush.
- 6-10 weeks out: where most Baltimore bookings should land. Send the date, venue and headcount and we lock the setup.
- Under 6 weeks: possible with simple art and standard blanks, as long as the freight can still arrive. Ask and we'll answer quickly.
What gets you booked faster
Final artwork, a rough headcount, the venue, the date, and which stations you want. Put all of that in the first message and we can proof the art and confirm without a round of follow-up questions.
Short notice? Ask before you give up on it. We’ll tell you straight whether freight can still reach your Baltimore date.

Baltimore lead time
What the Baltimore lead time pays for
Most of the lead time is distance. The gear ships by freight from Fullerton, 2,302 miles off as the crow flies, and has to be packed and moving well before the date, and art should be final about a week out. At the Baltimore Convention Center, the electrical order and the marshalling window each have a deadline of their own, and those can land before ours.
Show weeks tighten everything. When a major convention is in town, hotels and labor get tight across the metro at once, so booking early for those dates saves money. Date changes are easiest with two weeks' notice.
