Bigger isn't always better. The right spot is where the line helps the event: people can see the press from across the room, the queue has somewhere to go, and it's close enough to the action that joining feels easy.
Start with what the event is for
Lead capture points to a convention floor or a sponsor lounge at the Baltimore Convention Center, where the badge scan happens at the table. Social content points to a rooftop, a patio or a retail pop-up with good light. Guest gifts belong near check-in, the bar or the exit, so everyone walks past the station at least once.
Neighborhoods we plan for
- Inner Harbor & Convention Center: the Convention Center, harbor hotels and promenade events, with the heaviest foot traffic.
- Harbor East: hotel ballrooms and corporate dinners where a premium station fits.
- Fells Point: bars, rooftops and brand nights along the water.
- Federal Hill: close to the stadiums, good for game-day pop-ups.
- Mount Vernon: galas, nonprofit nights and ceremonies in the historic district.
- Canton: waterfront festivals and company events with room to spread out.
What the space needs
About 10x10 ft per station, two 120V circuits, a level floor, and a line that stays clear of doors and service lanes. Outdoors, add a canopy and a plan for wind off the water, summer heat, and keeping the blanks dry.
Quick test: if the room has space for a merch table and a short line, it can probably hold a live station. Send the floor plan and we'll point out power, load-in or queue problems before we quote.
Baltimore venue notes
What changes from room to room
Indoor venues here are usually the easy part. The Convention Center publishes its exhibitor rules, and hotel ballrooms have service corridors built for a load-in. The questions come with outdoor sites: a lot by M&T Bank Stadium or a stretch of the harbor promenade needs power sorted early and a canopy that holds in wind.
Wherever it lands, it's the same kit from Fullerton, shipped ahead by freight, with the crew arriving a day early. Tell us the venue and we'll work out the station layout before we price it.
